My name is Julia. I’m 37 years old. I have a family: two children, my sister, niece and nephew. We were born in Sloviansk Donetsk region in Ukraine. We had a wonderful life, a perfect job and family in a small resort town . Unfortunately, war has come to my country. My parents stay in Ukraine. My sister and I with our children were forced to leave our home and run away from destruction. It was a hard decision against our will. We want to ask you for help and advice. We see that a lot of kind people help refugees from Ukraine and we are grateful to everyone. The support of the whole world gives us trust and hope that we will find a quiet, safe place.

I have a higher education and I had a job as a tutor for 2 last years. My sister worked as a nurse in the polyclinic. My niece is a student and she has only one year left to graduate from university. Our children had good schools and they miss their friends. Despite the situation, our family wants to be useful and open to new opportunities. We are grateful for the help from The Hummingbird Effort Foundation. We were living in a school, and they have found a nice apartment for us in Kolobrzeg. In addition, they have located a sponsor for us in the UK, who will provide us with a 3-BR apartment in London. Thank you!
